Omri & Gwyneth Davies – Lead Pastor

Was ordained and became a lay Pastor of the church in 1994 . He left the business world officially in 1996 and then took on the full-time role as Lead Pastor. They count it a privilege to serve the Lord at Transformation. They have been blessed with five children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. When you hear them, you would without a doubt recognize that they are originally Welsh. They are motivated by the fact that they have proven over and over again in their life together, and in the church, that God’s blessing rests on your life, when you put into practice the command of Jesus,  “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matt.6:33).  They have put it into practice, and have been able to overcome many difficult challenges in life. They are therefore driven to share this truth with everyone, so others can experience the life changing and transforming power of the Gospel in their lives too. They love Christ-centered corporate worship and have a passion to see everyone in their fellowship grow to maturity in Christ and to rise to their place of calling and ministry in the Body of Christ. They are committed to making room in Transformation Church for a full expression of the five-fold ministry gifts (Eph.4:11) and the release of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. (1Cor.12:7-11).

Years later Rich’s dad was named pastor of Val’s church and shortly after that, Rich moved to the UK to attend Bible College. During Christmas break of 99, while he was visiting home, Val & Rich reconnected, went out on a date and the rest as they say, is history. Now married for over 15 years with two wonderful kids, they have been involved in many aspects of ministry and church leadership over the past 20 years. Rich was ordained as Associate Pastor at Transformation Church in 2004 and preaches often and Val has been leading the worship team since 2002. They are both passionate and committed to preaching the gospel, equipping believers, then releasing them to live out the promises and vision that they have inherited from God.

God used His word and His people in her life to affirm her giftings and encourage her to serve in various ministries that ultimately led her to teaching in professional life and church life.  It gives her such joy to have children participating in the telling of bible stories and understanding how they can apply it to their own lives. Watching children grow and starting to invest in others’ lives fills her cup until it overflows. The best kind of mess!
